HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICiPATE IN THE 50 OVER 50 PROJECT?
The booking fee is $450. The fee not only holds your date, it also covers your wardrobe consultation, professional hair and makeup before your session at our studio and a page in our 50 over 50 portrait magazine delivered straight to your inbox in pdf format.
WHAT DOES THE booking fee INCLUDE?
Consultation - to discuss how you want to be photographed, what outfits you would like to wear etc.
Professional photo shoot - 1.5-2 hour photoshoot with Elisa. We encourage you to bring at least 5 outfits for your photoshoot.
Reveal and Ordering Session - an in person session at our studio to look at the 75-100 images we have created for you. At your session you will be able to purchase albums, wall art and images in digital format.
Featured on our Website, Blog and Social Media - your images and story might be chosen as a feature on our website, social media, blog and possibly Youtube.
VIP Facebook Group - be a part of a community of women all participating in the project. Share your experience and cheer each other on.

HAVE A GOWN IN YOUR CLOSET COLLECTING DUST DUE TO COVID?Now's your chance to get out of those sweats and show off your glamorous side. We will pamper you from head to toe! Of course you're welcome to bring at least 5 outfits from jeans to a cocktail dress to boudoir!
WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE PHOTOGRAPH?
Absolutely! When you see the 75-100 stunning images we have created for you there's a good chance you are going to want more than one! Individual images (including the digital and matted print ready for framing) are $390 each. You can save by purchasing collections. The more you buy, the cost goes down. Our packages with 6 images start at $1,490 + tax and go up from there. We take credit cards and payment plans are available.
WHERE DOES THE SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
We have a beautiful natural light studio located in San Francisco's SOMA (South of Market) district near Twitter, Uber, Facebook and all our tech community.
WHAT DAYS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE FOR THIS SHOOT?
Availability is on a first come, first serve basis. We kindly request a the booking fee and a little extra to use toward your package to hold your date. On our phone call we will share next available dates and make sure to find an opening that works for you. We will do our best to accommodate you. After being in quarantine for so long we expect a very busy season so book early.
TELL ME ABOUT THE MAGAZINE?
One of the most exciting parts of this project is to celebrate all 50+ of our participants and share your images and stories with the community in a beautiful pdf magazine, on social media and in our VIP group.
WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PROJECT?
I turned 60 this year and I can relate with all my 50+ sisters of the feelings we have about aging and how we are underrepresented in the media. There's no expiration date on being a fabulous, happy, fulfilled and vibrant woman. You inspire me. Your story inspires me. You show me and our society the truth - that a woman just gets better with time, like a fine wine! I am a huge believer in women's empowerment. There aren't enough platforms for women over 50 to share their story and their beauty.
BUT I'M NOT PHOTOGENIC!
Stop right there. I believe everyone is photogenic. It's my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! And lucky for you I am a trained master at making women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in photographs.
WHAT WILL I WEAR?
You can wear up to 5 different outfits in your photoshoot. We encourage you to play DRESS UP! Or, you can be casual in jeans and a white t-shirt. You can wear a sun dress. You can wear a fancy cocktail dress or jumpsuit. You can wear yoga clothes. You could even wear lingerie or your birthday suit. There's no rules. This is up to you! I want to photograph you based on YOUR UNIQUE VISION.
WHAT IF I'D LIKE TO INCLUDE MY CHILDREN, PARTNER OR FAMILY?
Certainly! You can definitely include loved ones in your shoot for an additional $300 per person. Part of your story is the people you love. So if you want to include your loved ones, the more the merrier. And you also have total permission to make this photoshoot just about YOU!
CAN I REFER A FRIEND OVER 50 TO ALSO BE A PART OF THIS PROJECT?
Yes! I would love to also have your friends be a part of this project! You are welcome to bring a friend to your photoshoot. Each additional friend is $300.
WHAT IF I BOOKED MY DATE AND PAID $450 AND THEN HAVE TO RESCHEDULE?
I totally understand that life happens! We are happy to change the date more than 7 days out from the shoot at no charge. If we have less than 7 days notice (or this is the second time you need to reschedule) we do charge a $300 rescheduling fee.
HOW ARE YOU CHOOSING WHO PARTICIPATES?
We aren't "choosing" anyone. Every woman's story is inspiring. Every woman is beautiful. So we aren't going to exclude anyone who wants to be involved. If you are willing to connect with Elisa for a "get to know you" call, pay your $450 booking fee, book your date, are over 50 (or turning 50 this year) you can be a part of the photoshoot!
Do i have to sign a model release? Yes, we request that everyone sign a model release the day of the photoshoot. Not to worry, we will use only the images that you purchase and with your approval before posting on social media. However, we are happy to tell your story and promote you to our audience.
