Client Spotlight: Katie Voong — Nourishing Community Through Food and Heart
At Elisa Cicinelli Photography, we love celebrating women who blend creativity, leadership and purpose—and today’s featured client, Katie Voong, embodies all three.
A chef, entrepreneur, and community advocate, Katie has spent over two decades in the food industry turning passion into impact. She’s the visionary behind Ktea Cafe, which quickly grew into Ktea Caters and Mayan Kitchen, serving up fresh, vibrant meals with a strong commitment to transparency and quality—especially in vegan and vegetarian offerings.
Katie’s influence extends well beyond her own kitchens. As a corporate guest chef, she’s brought her culinary talents to top-tier tech companies like Google, Meta, Cisco, Uber, Microsoft and many more. But what truly sets her apart is her heart: her Giving Back Program is woven into her business model, supporting nonprofits like ChildrenGiving.org, Joy Club, local youth sports, and food donations to The Food Bank—every single week.
She credits her incredible team for bringing her vision to life and it shows in everything they create together: meals that delight, nourish and bring people together.
As a San Francisco Personal Branding Photographer, I had the honor of capturing Katie’s strength, creativityand entrepreneurial spirit—images that reflect the same care and authenticity she pours into every dish and every client interaction.
